Congress has made a frigging mess of the nation. I can’t digest their policies nor their decisions to sell this nation piecemeal. However, it isn’t the right platform to “dissect” them.

NDTV seems to be on an overdrive to promote Rahul Gandhi as the next “gen” “leader”. Nothing could be more worse than having a chimp romping about on the seat of power wahooing from the trees and a slightly evolved version of Tarzan. His grasp of Indian politics and public affairs is juvenile; he does profess some “understanding” of the “intricacies” of his “grand old party”. Having a “respectable” media house like NDTV promoting him is icing on the cake.

This post was prompted by an assinine entry in NDTV’s website here. This is indeed a slap on the face of any self respecting Indian.

Some moron writes in: (emphasis mine)

In the 2004 general elections after the Congress-led UPA government came to power, Sonia, the ‘foreigner‘, was able to withstand the political storm largely due to her Gandhi credentials.

She has since come a long way as Congress President and evolved into a dynamic statesperson. (WTF? What dynamism has she shown)?

Her son Rahul, once viewed as a reluctant politician, has also metamorphosised into a confident (!!!)MP from Amethi, ready to take on greater challenges. (Confident)?

The Congress has always banked on the dynastic aura of the Gandhi family, which has had an electrifying impact on the party cadre.Amid calls of giving Rahul greater responsibility within the party, the young Gandhi has apparently come of age. (yeah!)

Have a couple of these traitors and the media that would ruin the polity. I wish, that they discussed something better than “promotions” in the name of “hot debates”. This only exposes their crass mentality and mindset and a slap in the face of journalism to report without any biases or adopt a neutral perspective.

Very unfortunate that we are foced to stay with such news houses.
