Nike for Cricket World Cup 07
Published by Rinchen April 25th, 2007 in Advertisements on TVThis ad is one of my personal favourites and I think it encompasses the true spirit of Indian gully cricket. The classic traffic jam, the dusty old buses & trucks and the helter-skelter running to catch the ball. Loved the music; dont know which language its in though. Add the elephant pitching in the ball, the crash of the milkman’s cans as the fielder dives in deep & the missed aim that deserves a royal owwieee & its symbollic enough.
Only thing I dont understand is what Zaheer Khan & Sreeshant are doing there in the ad… Its a brilliant concept enough and methinks they were dragged in by Nike to emphasize on the Indian cricket bit. Tad redundant but what the heck. Its a great ad!

Afer quite a long time “Something So Appealing”. Though this ad lacks element of practicality but it absolutely matches with the punch line….
Nike has always followed a very aggressive module….JUST DO IT…..which is exactly what is shown in this ad.
In this ad there are people who would like to stop them….but they coudnt help it out….coz the zeal of teh these playes…..
This also talks about the devotion of the playes…..
In one line dis ad is not restricted to a particular peson…it also says…..WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY……
SO never ever give up…..!!!!!
