Long chains of identically dressed humans chanting the slogan, “Its good”… till our original hero steps in the club, says -You call that good? & orders a Royal Challenge “mineral water”. Who would have missed this ad considering the sheer volume of its air-time on almost all the channels. Experts call this phenomenon Surrogate Advertising. Catchy name.
This trend is openly followed by liquor & tobacco industry with “safe” advertisements such as mineral water, soda, cassettes & CDs, even holidays, golf accessories, achievement awards et all. So the government closes one door and the ingenious ad-makers open another. You have to give them credit for trying!
