UTI Bank is now Axis Bank

This is their punchline. So they are saying the bank services still suck. We have just changed the name to make the life complicated for you and us?
I am not exactly their customer. But they rejected my credit card application and gave me no reason. My friend got his card with the same work specifications. He is yet to get his first bill.
Basically, UTI bank management want to get rid of govt. tags itself, cos many new technology appliction is being implemented by them; but subscriber treat them at par with public sector bank.
It is really an image changeover too, cos it is one of the leading private bank in the country, which had gone not only to metro but penetrated into tier II & III cities of country and eastern region to be specific.
