Aaj Tak Sucks
Published by sushubh December 13th, 2007 in News Channels in IndiaI have never been a fan of Aaj Tak ever since it turned into a channel and a media company. Their news broadcasts are generally focused on getting the maximum TRPs rather than their importance in the national interest…
And now that I get to hear more about them and the people working in the channel… I am left both amused and frustrated. Media is a sad sad field to be in. And any budding journalist in India should think twice before entering this field.
Even the mainstream media groups are not safe for women. Not sure how the less popular ones treat them.
Can you tell me which field is not ’sad sad’ to be in??
Leave alone media, no field is safe to work in for women. She is not safe at workplace, she is not safe at home, she is safe nowhere!
And as far as media as a career option is concerned, this is a phase and this will pass gradually.
And no one today is interested in watching news of ‘national importance’. News channels show what viewers want to see. They are not there to operate any NGO. They have to feed hundered of people.
Aaj tak truly sucks big time!

coming back to the main topic… aajtak have crossed the border in making mockery to gain TRP. they will show any damn shit.
i agree totally with you Sushubh! They are more of a masala than a true news channel which should educate the masses on other important things.

Not only Aaj Tak, all these news channel are not showing news in any way.
First, they are propagating crime.
Then, there is no sign of positive news.
I can understand that crime is happening but good things are also happening in the society. what about them.
