I am pretty sure that Preity Zinta is a rather stupid actress (I fail to recollect the last time she featured in a movie). But the latest BSNL Landline connection television advertising proves that fact.

I failed to find a copy of the ad on YouTube though I am sure it is going to become an internet hit as soon as someone uploads a copy.

The ad has her pretending to be a loyal daughter who is in discussion with a family for her marriage.

She asks the dude of his house number.

No, not the address but a landline number.

The dude says he does not have a landline connection at home.

Zinta is disappointed and said it is sad not to have a BSNL Landline connection at one’s place.

Umm ok. What if the dude lives in Delhi or Mumbai? What if he is rather satisfied with an Airtel Landline connection?

Anyways, I am hoping Ness Wadia gets a BSNL Landline connection at his place or she would be so totally disappointed.

Heh, Sushubh – looks like people clicked ‘India Media Bash’ without knowing what the sentence means :P

One thing, I agree with Pooja though – it is a freaking advert. Moreover, its a stupidly freaking ad.

Yeah, its not like she wrote her lines or invented the ad but endorsing it pretty much makes it her point of view. And thats a Preity stupid point of view, I must say.

And finally, I DO hope Ness Wadia’s got a BSNL connection! Took the words right out of my mouth there :)
