Published by somanshu February 12th, 2006 in UncategorizedNeed I say more on this famous quote, “Pehchan Kaun”?? It is amazing how a particular style or a thought or an idea, spreads so rapidly. Just imagine for a moment, if the guy who said this was given the right to patent this particular sentence or the words or even the style, how much money would he be able to make??? Sentences like ” Sorry???? EGGJACTLEEE” from the movie Salam Namaste , have been adopted as new fashion statements. The moment a sentence excites your senses, you know, you need to learn this sentence by heart, coz you are going to hear it again and again in the coming days. Look at Sidhu’s sidhuisms for example (although we have had too much of him already), they still make u think for a while. Who could forget our although forgotten but still beloved PM’s pet sentence - “Yehh…..!!!! ……!!! !!! …..!!!! achi baat nai hai!! “

Yeah I totally agree with ya! I especially like ‘Pehchaan Kaun’- it really cracks me up! LOL!
I was watching the Filmfare awards the other night and Jaaved Jaffri dressed up as good-for-nothing so-called ‘popstar’ Bali Brahmbhatt and he really took the mickey out of him!!!!
Everytime I think of this little lyric he sung tunelessly, I just can’t stop laughing. So, I’ll spread my joy with u lot. Here goes, it is based on Anu Malik’s besoori song, ‘dekho baarish gaa rahi hai’.(It came out in circa 2000, remember??)
